Welcome to my little corner of the internet where I share some fun stuff I’ve worked on and how I think fostering community care enhances collaboration.
As a nonprofit communications professional for the past 10 years, I have learned that rather than just “get the work done” it’s important to connect with and care for one another. If we’re not caring for one another as humans, how will we ever be able to collaborate as a community?
Community care is something we don’t always link to the workplace, but it’s a beautiful and radical way of being that Black, Brown, and Indigenous communities have been cultivating for centuries. As human beings, we just want to feel like we belong and I feel really passionate that we can do small and big things to foster this feeling.
With belonging and community care at the center of everything I do, I hope we can partner and make something magical!
